Obtaining registration plates from the Ohio BMV does not make it legal.
Per Ohio Revised Code 4519.41 operation of snowmobiles, off-highway motorcycles and all-purpose vehicles on highways in the county or township road systems within the jurisdiction of the local authority (Township Trustees) except for very limited and specific purposes, is prohibited. This also applies to golf carts.
Anyone found operating any of these types of vehicles on roadways within Madison Township is subject to fine/arrest and impoundment of the vehicle.
