Madison Township Board of Trustees wish to clarify that driving golf carts is illegal upon on all public roadways

"Please immediately report damaged, missing, obstructed, or malfunctioning traffic control devices (e.g. stop sign, yield sign, traffic signal...) to the Madison Township Police at 440-428-2116."

Trustees Ken Gauntner, Pete Wayman, and Max Anderson presented Madison resident Lydia Gross a Special Resolution at their November 29th, 2022 Regular Meeting in honor of her receiving the 2022 Community Impact Award from the Cleveland Legal Aid Society.

At the November 12, 2023 Madison Township Trustees Meeting the Board of Trustees adopted a resolution recognizing and honoring Madison Country Club on its 100th Anniversary in business and being the longest continuously operating business in Madison Township. The township wishes Madison Country Club many more prosperous years. Pictured from left to right is Madison Country Club owner Rollin Cooke III, Trustee Ken Gauntner Jr., Trustee Max Anderson Jr., and Madison Township Solicitor Gary Pasqualone.

Thank you John Rogers, Executive Director, of the Lake County Landbank for acquiring this long standing eyesore in our community and removing it. We look forward to the future development of this corner of Hubbard & Chapel Roads.

The below photos were taken on Veterans Day November 11, 2018.  It was for the dedication of six new flag poles installed at the entrance to Veteran's Park on Hubbard Rd. The six new flag poles are in addition to the flag pole that fly's the American flag. These six new flag poles are flying the flag of each branch of the U.S. military as well as the POW/MIA flag. Thank you to American Legion Posts 112 & 601 as well as VFW Post 8548 for participating in the flag pole dedication ceremony. Thank you to the "Gray Riders" motorcycle group who purchased all the U.S. military flags. A special thank you to the following Madison Businesses and individuals that donated money toward the purchase of the six new flag poles: Dairy Queen, Perfect 10 Hair Design, Andy's Auto Parts, Frank's Auto Body, Debonne Winery, Madison Muffler, Penguin Mechanical, and Max & Andrea Anderson.

August 15, 2018 groundbreaking ceremony for Mary's Diner located on Green Road on the South side of Circle K and adjacent to Walmart.  The township congratulates Neil & Nicole LaRusch, owners of Mary's Diner.

Madison Public Library hosted an event on June 1, 2017 called "Pet the Truck" in which our Service Department was happy to bring the Caterpillar Front End Loader to display.  Madison Fire District and Madison Village Road Department also participated in the event.

On October 25, 2016 the Board of Madison Township Trustees officially renamed the former "In Line Skate Park" located at 1747 Hubbard Road to "Veterans Park" to honor all those who have served in all branches of the military. The dedication ceremony was held on May 29, 2017.
