The Township of Madison efficiently regulates land use through Zoning committees appointed by the Trustees. This was mandated by a vote of the citizens of Madison around 1956. The Board of Zoning Commissions meets on the second Monday of each month. The Board of Zoning Appeals meets monthly, on an as-needed basis.
The Madison Zoning Commission is apprised of five members who serve for a term of five years, ending on December 31st of said year.
