Cemeteries
Madison Township owns and maintains seven historic cemeteries:
North Madison Cemetery on Hubbard Road
Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road
Dock Road Cemetery on Dock Road
Middle Ridge Road Cemetery on Middle Ridge Road
North Ridge Road Cemetery on North Ridge Road
South Ridge Road Cemetery on South Ridge Road (SR 84)
South Madison Cemetery on State Route 528
The Cemeteries are operated by the Board of Trustees of Madison Township, Lake County, Ohio. Paul Cook serves as the Cemetery Sexton for the cemeteries of Madison Township. They are operated in conformance with the Laws of the State of Ohio, and in accordance with the appropriate principles of good conduct, which the Trustees believe should govern the operation of the cemeteries.

RULES & REGULATIONS
ALL MADISON CEMETERIES:
- Open dawn to dusk
- All holiday decorations shall be removed by May 1st
- Planting of shrubs or bushes is not permitted
- Placing small stones and gravel is not permitted
- Plantings and decorations shall be within 12" of stone and not encroach on other graves
- Graves found to be neglected will be cleaned up by Township employees
- Township is not responsible for stolen or damaged decorations
NORTH MADISON CEMETERY:
- Headstones in sections 'C' through 'I' shall be flush to grade
