The Administration Center is here to assist the residents in many ways. The Township Administrator manages areas of the Township such as; Roads, Zoning, Parks, and Cemeteries. If you have service- related questions or Township questions in general contact the Administrator or his assistant.
Roads:
The Township maintains 53 miles of Township roads, while the Lake County
Engineers Office maintains about 67 miles of Township roads, along with
the State of Ohio maintaining another 14 miles of Township roads. For

Cemeteries:
There are seven public cemeteries located in Madison Township
that are managed and maintained by the Township. For more information,

Parks:
There are over 150 acres of public lands and parks comprised of Lake
Metroparks' Hogback Ridge, Arcola Creek, Hidden Valley, and Riverview
Parks as well as Madison Township community parks. Included are an Inline
Skate Park and three Township Parks that are lake front; Bill Stanton Community Park, Tuttle Park,
and Township Park.
Bill Stanton Community Park has two halls available for rent for special occasions; the Recreation Hall and the Banquet Hall. Also for rent is a Chapel and the Lakeside Cabin. For more information, click on the link above.
Zoning
The Administration Center is where residents can find information
regarding zoning issues, which includes building permits for items such
as; pools, sheds, and decks. The Zoning Inspector is available Monday
through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. The Township also efficiently
regulates land use through Zoning Committees appointed by the Trustees.

Planting Trees, Shrubs, & Flowers?
No trees, shrubs, or flowers are permitted to be planted in the road
right-of-way, if you need assistance determining what the road
right-of-way is contact the Township Offices. Trees, shrubs, and flowers
planted in the road right-of-way are subject to removal.
