A RESOLUTION,
for the purpose of promoting public health, safety, morals, comfort and general
welfare; to conserve and protect property and property values; to secure the
most appropriate use of land; and to facilitate adequate but economical
provision of public improvements, all in accordance with a Comprehensive Plan.
The Board of Trustees of this Township finds it necessary and advisable
to regulate the location, size and use of buildings and other structures,
including tents, cabins, and trailer coaches; percentages of lot areas which may
be occupied; setback building lines; size of yards, courts and other open space;
and the uses of land for trade, industry, residences, recreation or other
purposes and for such purposes, divides the unincorporated area of the Township
into districts or zones.
BE IT RESOLVED
BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF MADISON TOWNSHIP, LAKE COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO:
That for the
purpose of promoting the public health, safety, comfort, and general welfare;
conserving the values of property throughout the Township; to facilitate the
provision of water, sewerage, schools, and other public requirements; and
lessening or avoiding congestion in public streets and highways; it is hereby
provided as follows:

Resolution shall be known as the Zoning Resolution of 1957.
