SERVICE/PUBLIC WORKS:
  • Motion to allow the Lake County Engineer to prepare a Road Agreement for Madison Township giving the Lake County Engineer authority to enforce, on behalf of Madison Township, the weight limitations, roadway usage, and bond requirements for all Madison Township roads.
BUILDINGS/GROUNDS
  • Motion to purchase Barber 2012 Surf Rake Model 400 Beach Cleaner from H. Barber & Sons, Inc at a cost of $22,100.00
  • Motion to approve purchase of materials for Township Park stairs at a cost of $1,675.00 from Carter Lumber in conjunction with the Township Park Beach Enhancement project
  • Motion to approve labor expense for Township Park stairs at a cost of $2,590.00 with Care Home Repair, Mike Kotnik, in conjunction with the Township Park Beach Enhancement project
CEMETERY:
  • April Report
OTHER:
  • Motion to approve changing to Frank Gates as the Managed Care Organization (MCO) for Madison Township per the Bureau of Workers Compensation Open Enrollment and Implementation timeframes.
  • Motion for approval for Larry Advey to attend the Ohio Township Administratro Network 2012 Spring Forum on June 1st at a cost not to exceed $250.00.
  • Motion to forward the annual donation fo $50.00 each to the American Legion Posts 112 & 601 and VFW Post 8548 for Memorial Day expenses.
  • Motion to reduce the summer meetings for June, July, and August to one meeting per month.
